Voodoo Room perform Hendrix, Clapton & Cream

I attended an excellent gig at Lowestoft Marina Theatre on Saturday 16th Feb 2019.
Voodoo Room played excellent versions of Cream and Jimi Hendrix Experience numbers. Having been lucky enough to have seen JHE in 1968 the memories came flooding back. I was also fortunate enough to have "drummed" in a band with two excellent musicians back in the late 60's which covered a number of the songs played by Voodoo Room so it was a real trip down memory lane for me.
However with Voodoo Room, the musicianship of all three members of the band was as good as you could get and together they created a truly amazing reproduction of the numbers they covered. I particularly liked their renditions of Third Stone from the Sun and Steppin' Out.
Will definitely see them again.

I saw Voodoo Lounge tonight for the first time in Whitley Bay & was blown away by just how good this 3 piece sounded live. The spirit of Hendrix is alive & well as long as these guys are playing & I would highly recommend anyone to go see this as it is an excellent show.
Anyone with a liking for Hendrix , Cream or Eric Claptons solo work will love this gig.

I went to see Voodoo Room for the first time and had such a great evening.They are really accomplished musicians, producing an amazing sound. A band not to be missed. I particularly liked the Hendricks and Cream renditions, I would love them to include some Zeppelin, however go and see them, you won’t be disappointed. Great sense of humour too.

Great performance with solos from each member
Couldn't have predicted the quality of playing and good interaction with the audience.
Highly recommend going to see and listen a d relive the early years . Of great sounds and artist even if you have never seen the original affairs .

As always a great set by the band with some outstanding individual contributions by all.
A great gig, the venue is small but good acoustics, it wasn't full which was a shame, maybe better advertising is needed.

Brilliant show as usual what a fabulous group of musicians. A great venue also for this type of band.long may live music continue of this calibre. Hard working groups like this deserve every success.

This is a great band, great musicians and what a fantastic night. Anyone who loves music will appreciate these guys. 10/10. Everyone should get a ticket for a performance near you.
